A viral video has sparked widespread reactions online after Pastor Kayode made strong remarks about giving, wealth, and financial discipline among Christians.

The statements were delivered during a sermon that has since circulated widely across social media platforms.

In the clip, the pastor criticised what he described as negative influences from online spaces and cautioned against people who constantly question or criticise pastors.

He also connected financial giving to spiritual growth, reinforcing prosperity teachings often discussed within Christian circles.

Addressing those influenced by online content, he said: “To give convenience seed, maybe you read a lot of junks online. You follow some people who just criticise pastors. People who don’t understand kingdom economy.”

Pastor Kayode further claimed that his ministry carries a unique spiritual assignment centred on wealth creation.

“I am among the few pastors on earth with the oil of raising billionaires. If you don’t rise up, listen, if you don’t rise up to be a covenant practitioner, begging will be unlimited. It is the amount you give, how you give it, when you give it.”

He stressed the importance of consistency and timing in giving, noting that it reflects a believer’s commitment to God and serves as a true expression of faith.

“Those two things, how you give it, when you give it, the consistency that demonstrates your heart for God. Giving is one of the authentic ways you demonstrate your love for God. So you’re giving, make sure your love for God.”

The pastor also stated that financial behaviour can influence life outcomes, linking a lack of faithfulness in giving to financial struggles.

“If you want to know how somebody loves, check the way the person gives. Financial unfaithfulness is the reason for lack.

“In the life of a lot of Christians, I showed you last week, cases that follow non-titles, it has been examined. It has been proved. The life of tithers is ten times more productive than the life of non-tithers.”
