Nigerian influencer and self-proclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has responded to doubts surrounding her recent stage 4 cancer announcement.
The news of her illness first caused a stir on social media when she shared an emotional video revealing her battle with cancer. In the video, she also appealed to the public for financial support, even placing some of her properties on urgent sale to fund her chemotherapy treatment.
Despite her disclosure, some Nigerians questioned the authenticity of her claims. Notably, social media critic VeryDarkMan challenged her to provide proof of her diagnosis.
In a new video posted on Thursday, March 26, 2026, Blessing CEO addressed her skeptics, stating that such reactions reflect ignorance. She admitted that she herself is still coming to terms with her condition and confessed to feeling apprehensive about visiting the hospital, as she rarely falls ill.
“To everyone saying my stage 4 cancer is a prank, it is not a prank. Some people are saying how did it jump to stage 4, it shows a lot of people are ignorant. Right now, I am still living in denial even though I am packing my bags to go to the hospital. I am scared because I don’t go to hospitals. I barely fall sick. Now people are saying I should blend vegetables together, I don’t eat vegetables,” Blessing CEO said in the video.
