In other news…. Nollywood star Nkechi Blessing Sunday has voiced her disappointment with actors who, despite receiving substantial pay for their roles, fail to support the films they feature in.

On Instagram, she addressed colleagues who request high fees to appear in her projects but show little effort in promoting them after release.

Nkechi Blessing emphasized that while she respects actors valuing their worth, issues arise when films are released and these actors behave as though they weren’t compensated, avoiding any promotion of the project on their platforms.

She cautioned that such conduct could spark serious conflicts.

The actress stressed that she expects actors to help boost a film’s visibility once they have been paid, describing neglect of this duty as unacceptable.

She wrote: “I am not saying you should not charge 3 million naira to be in my movie, oh yes charge your worth.. But you see where me and you go get problem?

“Na when film come out you act like say na free you come work!!!! to even post movie for your page so your fans can watch, na war… Me and you go reach police station.. So better avoid my money now to avoid stories that touch.

“I no Dey pluck money from tree.. you cannot promote a movie you were paid heavily for, uncle/sister GTFO…. Who do you even think you are?”
