Viral fish pie seller, Alax Evalsam, has shared that life has been challenging for him since he became popular online.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the Clarity Zone podcast, he revealed that the car gifted to him by well-known matchmaker Nons Miraj developed issues shortly after he started using it.
He also explained that moving into the house she rented for him did not bring the positive changes he had anticipated.
“The car that Nons Miraj gave to me got bad as soon as I started using it. Nothing good has happened for me since I moved into the house she rented for me. I plan to relocate to my village as my last hope,” he said.
He noted that these experiences have left him feeling frustrated and considering returning to his hometown as a way to start over.
Despite his viral fame, Evalsam admitted that things have not been easy for him, as many might assume. His situation has drawn attention from fans and supporters who have been following his journey closely.
“I just feel like going back to my village and starting afresh. Sometimes, being in the spotlight doesn’t mean everything will go right,” he added.
Social media users have reacted with a mix of concern and encouragement.
One user wrote, “It is hard to help people these days. Imagine saying the house she rented gave you bad luck.”
Another added, “Don’t give up! Everyone faces setbacks. This is just a phase.”
