Speaking on ongoing reforms, Seyi appealed to the public to have faith in the president’s decisions, noting that current measures are aimed at preventing bigger challenges in the future.
“I’m asking you all to have faith in my father, president Tinubu. My father saw cracks and is fixing them now, so we won’t face bigger problems later,” he said.
His remarks come amid public reactions to policy changes introduced by the administration, with many Nigerians expressing concerns over economic conditions.

In a statement on Tuesday, he offered condolences to the families of the victims and extended support to those injured in the attacks. He also assured the people of Borno State that the federal government stands with them during this challenging period.
“The news from Maiduguri is deeply distressing. I mourn the loss of lives, sympathize with the injured, and stand in solidarity with the people of Borno during this difficult time,” President Tinubu said.
He characterized the attacks as acts of desperation by criminal and terrorist groups under pressure from Nigerian security forces. “These acts represent the frantic, last-ditch efforts of criminals and terrorists attempting to spread fear while facing constant pressure from our armed forces and security agencies,” he noted.
The President emphasized that the government is committed to intensifying measures to combat insecurity nationwide.
He also praised the bravery of Nigerian troops who successfully defended military installations against coordinated assaults in the state. “I commend the courage and determination of our patriotic forces who repelled these coordinated terrorist attacks,” he said.
Describing the attacks as desperate moves by extremist groups, Tinubu expressed confidence in the capacity of security forces and civilian task teams to contain the threat. He revealed that new security initiatives are already underway following a recent meeting with top security and intelligence officials.
“Over the past weekend, during a security meeting with leaders of intelligence and security agencies, I approved additional operational support and equipment to strengthen their capabilities. Implementation of these measures is already in progress,” he added.
The President also instructed security leaders to relocate to Maiduguri to supervise ongoing operations, while emergency agencies have been directed to provide comprehensive care for the injured.
Reaffirming his administration’s firm stance, Tinubu declared that no part of Nigeria would be a safe haven for terrorist groups. “Terrorists will find no sanctuary in Nigeria. We will track, confront, and decisively defeat them. Our nation will not be intimidated by fear,” he stated.
The statement comes as concerns over security in the North-East persist, with authorities continuing efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
