A Thai woman married to a Nigerian man has stirred reactions on social media after sharing her perspective on relationships with African men, particularly Nigerians.
In a video circulating online, she explained that dating or marrying an African man can sometimes be challenging because of their strong personalities.
According to her, Nigerian men tend to be very confident and outspoken. She said they often say exactly what they think, even if it might come across as blunt or hurt someone’s feelings.
Giving an example, she said Nigerian men are usually direct in public situations. “If they are in a restaurant and don’t like the food, they will openly tell the owner without hesitation,” she explained.
She also spoke about trust issues in relationships, claiming that some Nigerian men can be very defensive when accused of cheating. “Even if you have all the evidence, they will still deny it and find a way out,” she said.
Despite the criticism, she acknowledged several positive traits. She described Nigerian men as family-oriented, hardworking, ambitious, religious, and respectful toward elders.
