In other news… A lady has recounted a frightening experience at a house party in Lekki, Lagos, urging others to be cautious when accepting invites to private events.

In a video that has gone viral online, she shared how what began as a casual birthday invitation quickly turned into an alarming situation.

She explained that the ordeal started when a man, who had previously asked her to be his girlfriend, reached out to her again. Although she had turned down his proposal, she agreed to remain friends with him.

The man later invited her to join him at a birthday celebration at a house in Lekki and even sent her N200,000 to buy an outfit for the occasion a gesture she initially considered harmless.

However, the evening quickly took a tense turn. “When I arrived, there were 11 men and only six women, including myself, making it seven women in total,” she recalled.

She said the party began normally, with guests socializing, drinking, and enjoying the music. But things became uneasy as several attendees grew intoxicated.

According to her, the situation worsened when the lights were suddenly turned off and some of the men reportedly appeared wearing masks. At that point, the atmosphere shifted drastically, leaving her feeling unsafe and disoriented.

While she did not share every detail of what happened next, she revealed that the experience was deeply unsettling and has changed how she approaches social events.

“I will never attend any house party in Lekki again,” she concluded, recounting the ordeal.
