A video circulating online captures a tense moment between a couple at a restaurant after the man allegedly forgot his wallet at home.

Shared on X by @mirexmoses, the clip shows the pair arguing over who would cover the bill.

In the footage, the man admits he left his wallet and asks his girlfriend to either pay for the meal or assist by washing dishes. The bill reportedly totaled $200 for five items.

The woman appeared shocked and frustrated, questioning why she should cover the full amount. She also criticized her partner, doubting his ability to take care of her.

She further suggested that he send someone to retrieve his wallet, insisting that she was not accustomed to footing the entire bill.

Man: “I left my wallet at home.”

Lady: “What?”

Man: “Yeah, so either we’re gonna wash dishes or you can pay for it real quick.”

Lady: “Me pay for all this? You got five things.”

Man: “$200.”

Lady: “$200? Uh uh, oh no, I’m not paying that. You want me to pay for all of this? I mean, it’s our food. This is so weird. So you can’t take care of me if I go out with you? I’m just a girl. Hey, I’m not going out with you no more. This is ridiculous. Why can’t you just pay for this bill without me paying?”

Man: “Okay, I had it.”

Lady: “Okay, so that’s what we’re doing? What?”

Man: “It shouldn’t be on a girl.”

Lady: “But I left my wallet. Bring some money for all of this.”

Man: “Buy the guy food this one time.”

Lady: “Last night you paid for my food.”

Man: “What’s the issue then?”

Lady: “That I’m not used to this. This is new and I don’t like it. I suggest you send someone to help you pick up your wallet, since I am not used to paying for such meals.”
