Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi recently expressed displeasure over how she was introduced on the popular podcast, The Honest Bunch.
In a clip circulating online, the host mistakenly referred to her as “Ukeriya Anunobi Eku.” The actress quickly interjected, correcting both the pronunciation of her name and the omission of her professional titles.
Anunobi insisted that she be properly addressed as “Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi”, stressing that her academic and spiritual titles were earned through hard work and not honorary.
She said, “If you want to introduce me, you introduce me properly. I am remain Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi. My doctorate degree is not honorarium. It is academic. I had worked. I had laboured. I am schooled. And when I mean schooled, I mean schooled… I’m a moving acting machine.”
