Nigerian comedian Koboko has expressed outrage over a distressing video showing a woman mourning her husband, who was reportedly killed by bandits, alongside the loss of a corps member to the same attackers.

In his reaction, Koboko criticized public figures, including Seyi Law and King Mitchy, for their association with and support of the APC-led government. He referenced past statements by Reno Omokri and Seyi Law claiming that Nigeria was one of the safest countries to live in.

After sharing the videos of these incidents, Koboko questioned whether the nation could genuinely be considered safe, given the ongoing violence. He argued that Nigeria had shifted from being a place to live to a place where people simply struggle to survive.

Koboko also strongly condemned Seyi Law, King Mitchy, and Reno Omokri for downplaying the country’s security challenges. He recalled that Seyi Tinubu, son of the president, had visited northern regions to distribute food but was unable to provide protection for those whose lives were under threat.

The comedian suggested that those defending the government often do so because they are personally unaffected by the insecurity. He further warned that even wealthy or influential individuals could face tragedies that money could not remedy, highlighting the vulnerability of families in affected areas.
