Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has responded publicly after renowned cleric Chris Okafor retracted an earlier apology related to a controversy involving her and others.

The situation took a new twist when the pastor addressed his congregation during a service, clarifying that his initial apology had been misinterpreted by the public.

He explained that the apology was not an acknowledgment of any wrongdoing but rather a gesture aimed at preventing respected church leaders from being embroiled in the dispute. Maintaining that he had done nothing wrong, the cleric decided to withdraw the apology entirely.

In response, Ogala took to Instagram, seemingly challenging the pastor and suggesting that the matter might still continue. She asked her followers if the pastor had completed what she called “damage control.”

“Is Chris Okafor done with his damage control? So we can start,” she wrote.

She also made it clear that she had no issues with another woman involved, whom she referred to as “your favourite,” but advised her to stay out of the dispute.

“I don’t have issues with her; I am really happy for her,” Ogala added.

The actress noted that several people had encouraged her to move on from the controversy. Despite the tension, she ended her post with a message of forgiveness.

Ogala specifically mentioned Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, stating she held no grudges.

“Tonto, I forgive you totally,” she wrote.

She also expressed gratitude to a woman she called Mama Belemzy, crediting her with teaching her the importance of forgiveness.

“I forgive like my Mama Belemzy told me,” Ogala said.

The actress closed her post with a lighthearted remark, seemingly amused by the ongoing situation and jokingly questioning the pastor’s statements.
