Nollywood actress and filmmaker Etinosa Idemudia has voiced her thoughts on the ongoing discussions about r@pe allegations.
The mother of one emphasized the need for strict consequences for individuals who make false claims.
Speaking on Instagram on Thursday, Etinosa highlighted that boys deserve protection just as much as girls. She warned that misleading accusations can ruin lives and stressed that anyone intentionally spreading false claims should face legal penalties.
She wrote:
“The boy child needs protection just as much as the girl child. End false allegations today! I recommend jail time for false accusers.”
Her statement comes in the wake of the controversy surrounding TikToker Mirabel, who recently made headlines after claiming she was r@ped in her Ogijo, Ogun State apartment. Her allegations ignited widespread outrage and calls for justice. However, she later retracted parts of her story, admitting that some details were untrue.
Ogun State police have continued their investigation and stated that legal proceedings may follow once Mirabel’s medical care is completed.

According to her, she was once homeless and had sought shelter in a church while trying to survive. However, she said she was later asked to leave after the pastor reportedly stated that he did not want anyone sleeping on the premises.
She explained that after being forced out, she struggled to find a place to stay and eventually found herself on the streets. Facing hardship and lacking support, she said she later became involved in hookup as a way to survive.

That Was When I Started Looking For Where To Stay And Eventually Got Involved In Street Life.”
