A supporter of Tompolo has publicly raised concerns over alleged illegal crude oil activities in Rivers State.
In a viral message, the follower accused some government officials of being involved in the unlawful loading of crude oil while ordinary citizens are warned against oil theft. The individual expressed frustration that many people are allegedly receiving contracts and remaining silent about the situation.

He further noted that many youths in the region remain unemployed and continue to suffer despite the abundance of resources.
In other news….Socialite and entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, commended a southeastern traditional ruler who called on President Bola Tinubu to either release Nnamdi Kanu from detention or deport him abroad.
Lawrence Agubuzu, the ruler of Ezema Olo Community in Enugu State, made the request on Tuesday, February 17, during the 2026 National Traditional and Religious Leaders Summit on Health at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
Addressing President Tinubu in person, Agubuzu urged him to act for the sake of peace in the southeast. He said,
“The decision is yours. Release this man. If he cannot stay in Nigeria, send him back to Kenya or London, where he came from.”
Sharing the moment on Instagram, Cubana Chiefpriest praised Agubuzu for speaking out during the summit and emphasized that the message would reach the president. He wrote:
“Mr. President, we will do all we can, but please hear our plea. God bless your royal highness for participating in Abuja. If this message wasn’t delivered in person, some would claim he sold out or took money.”
Chiefpriest also highlighted the importance of the southeast supporting President Tinubu’s potential re-election, noting that he won the 2023 election without backing from the region. He stated,
“Cooperation is crucial. We cannot oppose the government. Asiwaju will release MNK, and the traditional ruler has conveyed that message. Let’s work together with Nigeria. Tinubu won the last election without the southeast, and he can win again. Supporting him now ensures our requests are considered.”
