Popular Nollywood star Rosy Meurer has addressed rumours surrounding her marriage after reports claimed she unfollowed her husband, Olakunle Churchill, on Instagram following his reunion with ex-wife Tonto Dikeh.
Speculation began when Churchill reunited with Tonto to celebrate their son, King Andre, who marked his 10th birthday on February 17, 2026. The former couple posed together for a family photo their first public reunion in nearly a decade since their split. The image quickly circulated online, sparking widespread reactions and commentary.
Amid the buzz, some social media users flooded Rosy’s page with accusations, alleging she had “snatched” Churchill from her former employer, Tonto. Others went as far as suggesting that the birthday celebration may have rekindled feelings between the ex-couple.
Adding fuel to the gossip, GistLover reported at the time that Rosy was no longer following her husband on Instagram, intensifying speculation about possible tension in their marriage.
However, Rosy has firmly denied the claims. The actress, who shares two children with Churchill, stated that she never unfollowed her husband and had no reason to do so. To counter the rumours, she shared a screen recording showing that they still follow each other on the platform. A later check of her page also confirmed that both accounts remain connected.
Clearly frustrated by ongoing narratives about her relationship, Rosy said she would no longer ignore recurring stories aimed at stirring controversy about her marriage. She suggested that the unfollowing claim may have been caused by a technical glitch or orchestrated by someone deliberately trying to create drama on the same day Churchill reunited with his ex-wife for their son’s birthday.

“I have never unfollowed my husband and I never will. So, you guys are going to wait for a very long time. If I do eventually unfollow him, you will be the first to know because I am not that kind of person that will hide or play games.”
She also addressed concerns about any tension, emphasizing that there was nothing wrong with her husband celebrating his child. According to Rosy, it was only natural for Churchill to show up for his son, especially considering the time they had spent apart.
She emphasised:
“It is only right for me to give him that space to celebrate with his son. I am happy his children get to feel what it feels like to be with their daddy.”
