Uzor Arukwe has remained in the spotlight as conversations continue about the reported strain in the marriage of his colleague, Oluwabamike Adenibuyan, widely known as Bambam.

Bambam and her husband, Teddy A, recently sparked online discussions after scenes from a film featuring her and Arukwe circulated on social media, prompting speculation about the state of their relationship. Bambam later appeared to subtly respond to the rumours.

Amid the buzz, an X user identified as Naughti Awol suggested that Arukwe should stop acting alongside Bambam due to the ongoing controversy. The user even remarked that he might have been out of line for making the comment.

Arukwe fired back, making it clear he would not entertain such advice and stressing that he could never be the person the commenter implied. His response drew praise from many fans, who defended his stance.

Supporters argued that acting is Arukwe’s profession and primary source of income, noting that he should not be expected to avoid working with a colleague based on unverified social media narratives. They maintained that he does not owe the public any adjustments to his career choices because of speculation surrounding Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage.

Others, however, shared a different opinion, suggesting that Arukwe might consider how the situation looks from Teddy A’s perspective, adding that dealing with such public conversations could be uncomfortable for any husband.

Earlier, Arukwe had addressed the controversy, rejecting attempts to link him to the alleged marital issues. He stated that he would not be turned into a scapegoat over claims lacking proof and urged social media users to be cautious and responsible with their comments.
