“Life Has Been Good”- Angel Smith Celebrates 26th Birthday With Emotional Note

  • Angel Smith has celebrated her 26th birthday with Valentine-themed photos and a heartfelt message, expressing gratitude for her current peace and committing her new age to God.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Angel Smith is celebrating her 26th birthday today, February 13.

To mark the special occasion, the reality star took to her Instagram page to share a series of Valentine-themed photos alongside a heartfelt note reflecting on her life and growth.

In her message, Angel expressed gratitude for being in a good place emotionally and mentally. She noted that for the first time in a long while, she found it difficult to put her feelings into words, describing the moment as poetic in itself.

According to her, she has always been someone who could easily express everything she feels, but her current state of peace has left her almost speechless.

The reality star also included a prayerful message, committing her new age to God and asking for divine guidance and protection in the year ahead.

“26, there is barely anything poetic to say when life has been good, I guess that in itself is poetic, to be in such a great space that words fail you, which is unlike me, I have always been able to say everything, I will say this though, Dear God, I hand this new age over to you, if I am hanging on by a thread this year, May it be the hem of your garment”.

In other news… Content creator and singer Carter Efe has voiced his frustration after Afrobeats superstar Wizkid reportedly gifted ₦20 million to a hypeman popularly known as “God Over Everything” (GOE).

Recall that in 2023, Wizkid surprised the hypeman with the cash reward after GOE mentioned him in a video. The gesture sparked widespread reactions online at the time. However, since the buzz surrounding the gift faded, little has been heard about the hypeman.

Reacting in a trending clip, Carter Efe expressed disappointment over the development. He explained that he has supported Wizkid’s music from the early days of his career, consistently dancing to and promoting his songs whenever they are released.

He questioned why the singer chose to reward someone else despite his own long-term loyalty and dedication. Carter Efe also pointed out that he released a tribute track titled Machala in honour of Wizkid, yet received no acknowledgment for his efforts.

“I promoted Wizkid’s songs since when I started my career. No song wey Wizkid go drop wey I no go whine my mumu waist. Guess who Wizkid go give N20M? God Over. How e be, Wizkid are you proud of him?” Carter Efe said.
