Popular Nigerian on-air personality Do2dtun has reacted to actress Tonto Dikeh’s recent reconciliation post with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, describing the gesture as one of the most difficult things anyone can do.
Do2dtun shared his thoughts while responding to news of the ex-couple’s apparent reconciliation, nearly a decade after their highly publicised divorce. Churchill had earlier confirmed the development in an Instagram post shared on Sunday afternoon.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the media personality admitted he was surprised by the reconciliation, especially given the history between the former couple. He praised Tonto Dikeh for her bravery and emotional strength, noting that forgiveness requires immense courage.
“Tonto’s latest post about Churchill is the hardest thing to do. My respect for her just rose. Forgiveness is a hard road to ply. I hope we all get there. Ah! This one shock me,” Do2dtun wrote.
His reaction has drawn attention due to his ongoing personal struggles, as he is currently involved in a contentious divorce and custody battle with his estranged wife. Do2dtun has previously accused his ex-wife and her family of preventing him from having access to his children.

Judy’s reaction came in the form of a “like” on a video posted by popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut. The clip showed Tonto sharing her testimony about how her former husband now married to actress Rosy Meurer unexpectedly reached out to her following a prayer request made by their son.
Earlier reports revealed that Tonto had explained how her son wrote down his prayer points during a 21-day prayer programme, one of which was the release of his passport from the embassy. She stated that she had never discussed his father or the circumstances surrounding the passport with him, later disclosing that the document was in his father’s possession.
The unexpected reunion between the formerly estranged couple sparked conversations online, with many social media users drawing comparisons to the strained relationship between Judy’s husband, Yul Edochie, and his first wife, May. Some commenters expressed hope that the situation between Yul and May might eventually take a similar turn.
Others, however, criticised Judy Austin’s supporters for likening May’s situation to Tonto’s.
It is worth recalling that Yul Edochie recently dismissed rumours of a breakup with Judy Austin after making an appearance in a video from her birthday photoshoot.
