Social media influencer Saida Boj has expressed disappointment in Seun Kuti over his ongoing feud with Afrobeat star Wizkid, criticizing how the musician has handled the issue online.
Reacting to the on-going feud, Saida Boj said the public argument has gone too far and is beginning to overshadow the legacy of Afrobeats pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
According to her, Wizkid’s actions already show respect for Fela, making Seun Kuti’s continued reactions unnecessary.
“The person wey you dey drag get tattoo of your papa for him body. What does that tell you? Isn’t that enough proof that he knows your father is a legend? Isn’t that enough proof that he respects your father?” she said.
Saida Boj further explained that Seun Kuti had taken the matter into needless debates, stressing that some things do not need to be proven publicly.
“These are things you don’t need to prove. Respect is already clear. Dragging it this way only ends up disrespecting Fela’s legacy,” she added.
She emphasized that the man in question has already shown admiration for Fela by having a full tattoo of him on his body, describing Seun Kuti’s reaction as unnecessary drama.
“I feel like he’s trying to create drama out of something that is already obvious. The respect is already there, so why make it an issue?” she said.
Saida Boj’s comments echo the frustration of many Nigerians online, who believe the ongoing feud between Wizkid and Seun Kuti has gone too far.
