The mother of one revealed that she is a trained Petrochemical Engineer, surprising many who primarily know her for her acting and public life. She studied Petrochemical Engineering at Rivers State University, formerly known as Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Tonto explained that although this fact has been part of her biography for years, it rarely receives attention because most focus has been on her career in entertainment.
She also reflected on her brief foray into politics, recalling her 2022 run as the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Rivers State alongside Tonte Ibraye for the 2023 elections. While their ticket did not win, her political involvement drew widespread attention.
The actress emphasized that she only acted for a short period and does not consider herself an actress. She credited her strong personality for making her unforgettable despite her brief time in the film industry.
