Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has stirred reactions online after revealing that President Bola Tinubu lives next door to her Ikoyi residence.
Speaking during an interview with content creator Korty, the singer described her current home as a “safe haven” due to its security and proximity to the President’s residence on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi. She added that the house is temporary, as she is currently building a new home in an undisclosed location expected to be ready next year.
“I feel safe. I actually feel a little bit important ’cause the president’s house is in front,” Tiwa said.
Her comments triggered mixed reactions online, with some fans praising her quiet lifestyle, while others criticised celebrities for allegedly enjoying privileges under bad governance.

The couple reportedly separated quietly several years ago after the birth of their daughter. In a video posted on X, Mandy shared some of the challenges she claims to have faced while married to the comedian. She presented her story in a game-style format, asking viewers to raise or lower their fingers in response to the situations she described.
