Former Nickelodeon child star Kianna Underwood has been identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn, New York, that claimed her life in the early hours of Friday morning.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the 33-year-old actress, who appeared on the 2005 Nickelodeon series “All That,” was struck by a gray vehicle while crossing at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the collision.
Sources said Underwood sustained severe injuries to her head and torso and was dragged beneath the vehicle for nearly two blocks before being left motionless on the roadway.
The NYPD received a 911 call at about 6:49 a.m., and emergency responders arrived shortly after. However, Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene. As of the time of this report, no arrests have been made, and the driver remains at large.
Kianna Underwood was also known for her roles in other Nickelodeon productions, including “Little Bill,” before stepping away from television.
