“Are Black African Countries Cursed?”- VDM Questions Why Some African Nations Lag Behind in Development

  • VeryDarkMan has stirred controversy after questioning why many Black African countries lag behind others in development, sparking mixed reactions and debates on governance, race, and infrastructure.
  • According to VDM, the contrast is clear when looking at roads, public facilities, and how systems function.

Popular and controversial speaker, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has sparked heated debate online after questioning why many Black African countries appear to be less developed compared to others on the continent.

VDM shared his thoughts after traveling and comparing different African countries, focusing on infrastructure, governance, and investment.

“When I came into this country, I started asking myself, is this really an African country? Then I realized that Africa, the only people doing well, are in African countries without Black skin. Are you so crazy?” he wrote.

He went further to question the development gap between regions.

“Are African countries with Black skin cursed? Look at developed countries like Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, and others. Why is Black Africa different?”

According to VDM, the contrast is clear when looking at roads, public facilities, and how systems function.

“Everything is working well elsewhere, but in Black Africa, it’s chaotic. People don’t communicate properly, governance fails, and investment is scarce,” he added.

His comments quickly divided social media users. While some agreed with his observations, others described his remarks as misleading, offensive, or unfair.
