- A man died a day after inspecting his new house, just days before he was scheduled to move in, prompting a reflective tribute from Shehu Sani on the uncertainty of life.

A man has passed away just days before moving into his newly completed home. He visited the property for inspection on December 30, 2025, with plans to move in on January 3, 2026. Sadly, he died on December 31, only one day after the inspection.
Former senator Shehu Sani shared a photo of the man during the inspection, reflecting on the fragility of life. “He inspected his new house on the 30th of December and died on the 31st.
He planned to move in on the 3rd of January but was not destined to live in 2026,” Sani wrote. He concluded with a prayer for the deceased’s soul.

In other news…. Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat has made an offer to Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman ahead of Nigeria’s clash with Morocco.
Lookman, who was part of the team that defeated Algeria, will face Morocco on January 14, 2026, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
In anticipation of the game, Hamzat revealed that he is ready to motivate Lookman with a cash reward. He promised to give the striker ₦500,000 if he scores during the match.
Having recently survived a serious accident, the streamer emphasized the seriousness of his pledge, even swearing on the promise.
However, the announcement did not sit well with some of Hamzat’s followers. Many felt the amount was insignificant compared to what Lookman earns as a professional footballer, while others described the gesture as “showy” and unnecessary.
A few fans suggested the money could be better used to help those in need rather than rewarding a star player. Some also speculated that Hamzat might reconsider his promise depending on Lookman’s performance on the field.
