Nigerian On-Air Personality (OAP), Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun, has voiced his concerns about the growing insecurity in the country.

GistLover reports that over the past week, Nigeria has experienced a significant rise in kidnappings carried out by terrorists across multiple states.

In a post on 𝕏, Do2dtun suggested that the security challenges facing citizens are not random but appear to be carefully coordinated.

According to him, the scale of confidence, planning, and destruction seen nationwide points to the involvement of individuals with deep knowledge of the system.

He wrote, “There is no way these things are not orchestrated by people within the system. It’s too structured, the level of audacity, the anyhow ness, the amount of damage, the types of ammunition and confidence to destroy. Someone that knows this system in and out is responsible.”

In a related reaction, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency on insecurity. This follows the latest mass kidnapping at St. Mary’s Primary and Secondary School, Papiri, in Agwara Local Government Area of Niger State.

Through a post on 𝕏 on Friday, Atiku described the recurring abductions as devastating and unacceptable.

He wrote, “Not again. This is truly heartbreaking.

“How many more lives must be shattered before decisive action is taken? It is not too late for the government to finally declare a state of emergency on insecurity and confront this menace with the urgency it deserves.”
