In a video, she expressed pride in her mixed heritage, saying there’s no combination too rare when it comes to Nigerians. She recalled people once calling her background a “weird mix,” adding that Nigerians are everywhere and proud of it
“As a fellow Nigerian, I am half Swedish and half Nigerian. One thing that Nigerians do really well is repopulate this earth. I can almost guarantee that there’s almost every single mix of Nigerian exists on this Earth. In my mind, I know that every single ethnicity and race on this earth has a mix with a Nigerian person; I know it is a fact. As Nigerians, we need to applaud ourselves because one thing we really know how to do well is breed and repopulate. I have met so many different variations of half Nigerians in my lifetime, and I just feel like I know it within, I can feel it in my soul that any single ethnicity that you pick out there’s definitely at least one Half Nigerian, Half the ethnicity.” She said.
