Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre has praised celebrity chef Hilda Baci for embodying strong Christian principles.
The Nigerian pastor, who attended Baci’s recently concluded Jollof cookathon and offered prayers for her, commended her resilience and determination during a media chat.
“Hilda demonstrates the values of Christ because the Bible says, ‘I can do all things through Christ, and all things are possible,’” Idowu stated. “Her story is a reminder that no matter your background, pain, or limitations, you can achieve the impossible if you believe.”
He further described Baci’s journey as a powerful source of inspiration for women worldwide.
Meanwhile, GistLove reported that Baci recently broke the Guinness World Record for the largest serving of Nigerian Jollof rice, weighing an astonishing 8,780 kilograms (19,356 pounds, 9 ounces).
This accomplishment follows her 2023 feat when she became a national sensation by completing a 93-hour 11-minute cooking marathon a record that was later surpassed by Irish chef Alan Fisher.
A video capturing Pastor Idowu’s remarks about Hilda Baci has since been shared online.

@OgbugaJ:”Jesus fed 5 thousand people, Hilda fed 20,000 people.”
@SuperChims1:”Nonsense. Who be this one.”
@Sneakyblings:”Police protected largest pot of jollof rice than Nigerians. Pastor sef show face for largest pot but ignored the millions of Christians being killed in Nigeria. No be lie o, e go really hard for nigeria to make it but it is not impossible.”
@Urhiemefe_:”Lol. Abeg abeg Wetin bring Christ enter this matter
@peace_olaleru:”She’s doing well for herself, we know that. Wetin concern Jesus with a big pot of jollof rice?”
@EfunnugaAdeboye:”The values of the Lord Jesus are clearly spelt out in the scriptures. When it comes to meat or food, this what Paul said: 1 Co 6:13 KJV Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Man shall not live by bread alone..”
@NASS_NG:”She didn’t demonstrate any value of Christ here, she simply cooked to break record (Take Glory for herself). Will she cook that quantity of rice and throw it away? If she does that, it’ll disqualify her search for glory, hence she must share the food (no other option).”
