An old video of Nigerian superstar Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has resurfaced on social media, capturing the moment he presented his MTV Base award during a thanksgiving service at Winners Chapel.
In the trending clip, the Oliver Twist hitmaker was spotted standing on the podium at the church’s headquarters in Canaanland, Ota.
D’banj expressed gratitude to God for clinching the MTV Base award back in 2007, noting that the victory came after a prophetic declaration from Bishop David Oyedepo.
He went on to dedicate the award to the respected cleric, a gesture that drew loud cheers from the congregation.
The singer also used the opportunity to thank God for his appointment as the United Nations Youth Ambassador for Nigeria.
