Two former contestants of the popular Nigerian reality TV show, Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS), have tied the knot after meeting on the show years ago.

The heartwarming revelation was made by the bride’s brother, Olamide Omoregha, who took to X over the weekend to celebrate the couple’s journey.

Sharing their latest loved-up photo, he wrote:

“This was a life changing moment for my sister, she was a contestant in one of the seasons, and that was where she met her husband. They both started jungle love, married now with two kids. Thank you GUS! Social media never sharp that time.”

Olamide further captioned the post with: “Mr and Mrs Haruna. The GUS couple.”

Fans of the show have since flooded the comments, gushing over how the once rugged survival reality TV series unknowingly set the stage for a beautiful love story. ❤️

In other news….. In a rather unusual twist, a Nigerian pastor has stirred social media buzz after openly advising his church members to go and register at the now-trending “GehGeh University.”

During a recent church service, the clergyman, while addressing his congregation, referenced the viral GehGeh movement that has taken over Nigerian streets and online spaces. To the surprise of many, he encouraged his members not to ignore the wave but to be part of it.

His comments have since gone viral, with netizens debating whether he was making a joke, trying to stay relatable to youths, or genuinely endorsing the controversial trend.
