- Fr. Ejike Mbaka clarified that the statements being circulated are false and do not represent his views or teachings.

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), has refuted claims that he described African ancestors as saints or advocated for the preservation of idols they worshipped.
He clarified that the statements being circulated are false and do not represent his views or teachings.
He said: “A few weeks ago, I was talking about false accusations to our ancestors, don’t misunderstand me, I was not saying our ancestors were all saints.
“I never meant that and neither did I say the idols they worshipped should be sustained, never. I can never be an apostle for the promotion of idolatry, I have only one omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God.
“Neither did I affirm nor disclaim that the things that are happening in our families have no past background.
“That was not what I said, I was overemphasizing false accusations, we should not over generalize.
“Lord save me, save the Adoration Ministry, save Fr Mbaka. Isaiah 38 verse 20 and God is always ready to save.”
In other news…… Media personality Toke Makinwa has described herself as a “hopeless romantic,” clarifying that she has no dislike for men.
Her statement comes just days after she revealed she is expecting her first child.
In a recent interview, Toke shared that she had prayed to God to make her a mother before turning 40.
According to her, shortly after that prayer, she and her partner took the step, and by December, she was pregnant.
She said:
“The popular belief out there is that I bash men, I hate men. It’s never been the truth. I’m a hopeless romantic. People did not know that I was depressed. Till now people did not know why I did that thanks giving service and I’ve never talked about it till this moment. At the start I told God I want to turn 40 a mum. I turned 40 in November and He did it December. He didn’t fail. God is never late. He just didn’t do it the way I thought it was gonna happen…”
