Hauwa Indimi-Yar’Adua, daughter of billionaire oil tycoon Mohammed Indimi, has opened up about a personal reflection from her younger years, expressing a heartfelt wish that she had embraced spirituality earlier in life.
During a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram on Thursday, the mother of two responded to a question that left a lasting impression on her. A follower had asked what advice she would give to a 20-year-old woman.
Though the message got buried in her inbox, Hauwa still felt compelled to respond.
“Yesterday, a lady asked me what advice I’d give her as a 20-year-old woman. I got distracted and I scrolled and scrolled and couldn’t find the message,” she shared.
Still, she offered a brief but meaningful response:
“It’s simple. Hold Allah very close and enjoy this season. I wish I was more spiritual in my 20s.”
Hauwa’s candid reflection has sparked positive reactions online, with many praising her vulnerability and the timelessness of her advice especially for young women navigating the pressures of early adulthood.
In other news, It was a troubling night for popular Nigerian streamer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Peller, after a tense encounter with the police.
In a now-viral video, the 20-year-old content creator was seen sitting in the back seat of his vehicle after being pulled over by officers. True to his style, he began recording the incident, but things quickly escalated.
One of the officers, seemingly angered by the recording, approached the vehicle and attempted to stop him. Peller, however, stood his ground and continued filming, which allegedly led to him being struck in the face. The video turned blurry at that point, hinting at a physical altercation.
Fortunately, another officer recognized him and stepped in, alerting the colleague who had laid hands on him. Stepping out of his vehicle, Peller made it clear he would not let the matter slide, accusing the police of harassment and physical assault.
While many are relieved that the TikTok star is unharmed, the incident has sparked concern online with people questioning what the outcome might have been if he weren’t a public figure.
Reporting the situation online, Peller wrote:
“I was coming back from ikorodu and this happened in Lekki the police man said we should open the bout and we open nest thing everybody come down for searching I just carry phone incase anything happen next thing he punch me for face the remaining police men come dey talk say he no no say nah me so nah so una dey do for random people 😡😡.”
