Pastor Boma Shares Prophetic Warning About Peter Obi’s Presidency

As Nigeria’s 2027 general elections approach, conversations around potential candidates are intensifying and so are spiritual warnings. Prophet Abel Boma, in a recent prophetic message, has claimed that Peter Obi, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, may face betrayal and may not become Nigeria’s next president.

The prophecy was shared in a video posted on the pastor’s official YouTube channel, where he explained what he described as a divine revelation concerning Obi’s political future.

“Let’s pray for Peter Obi. While I saw him sitting, at the end, they called him a fool publicly. The Lord said it is because of deceit; he will be deceived. They will say you’re the one we chose, but at the end of the last preparation to come out as the number one citizen, they will betray him,” he said partly.

According to the cleric, even if Obi were to ascend to the presidency, there would be serious concerns particularly regarding his stance toward the church. Boma warned that Obi’s leadership could usher in a “diplomacy against the church,” which he claimed would not align with divine will.

He also noted that while Obi would likely focus on educational reform, especially in the northern part of the country, his economic plans would be secondary, and his actions could ignite unrest in certain regions.

“The number one thing that Peter Obi is going to do if he becomes the president, which we know is somehow doubtful, is that he is going to create a diplomacy against the church,” Boma said.

“Number two, he is not going to look at the economy; he will mostly look at the education sector, which is good, very nice. And number three, there are some things he will do in the northern community which will trigger anger,” he added

“There is only one thing that the spirit of God is not happy with, and it is the choice of Obi against the kingdom of God. We need to pray against that,” he added, urging Christians to seek divine intervention.
