A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share a disturbing encounter with an inDrive driver who allegedly harassed her after she cancelled a ride.
Using the handle @lawlah_rae on X (formerly Twitter), the woman recounted how the driver became aggressive and made vulgar sexual remarks after she declined a price change and cancelled her booking.
According to her, she initially agreed to pay ₦2,000 for the ride, but the driver demanded ₦3,000 instead. When she refused the price increase and cancelled the trip, the situation escalated.
She alleged that the driver began harassing her with multiple calls, even resorting to using hidden numbers after she blocked him on WhatsApp for sending her inappropriate messages.
Sharing her experience, she wrote: “I booked a ride yesterday and he raised the fare to ₦3,000. I said ₦2,000, he told me to cancel, which I did. Since then, he’s been calling nonstop. After I blocked him on WhatsApp, he started using a hidden number. When I picked, he told me he likes me and wants to put his penis in my mouth.”
Following her complaint, inDrive responded, confirming that the driver has been permanently removed from their platform.
