Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared her excitement after reuniting with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a video from celebrity fashion designer Seyi Vodi’s lavish 50th birthday celebration held over the weekend. In the video, Nkechi is seen approaching the Ooni and respectfully kneeling to greet him, to which he warmly responded.
Expressing her joy, Nkechi referred to the monarch as her “daddy,” stating that it was always a delight to reconnect with him.
“Always a pleasure linking up with my daddy, His Imperial Majesty @ooniadimulaife. Good to see you after a long time, daddy,” she captioned the post.
The clip has since stirred reactions online, with many fans noting the actress’s reverence and the warm rapport between her and the monarch.

In a recent post, she announced her appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Creative Economy by the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo.
