Buhari, who passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, July 13th, in a London clinic, left behind a wave of national mourning.
In the wake of his passing, his former aide, Bashir Ahmad, shared a throwback clip from May 2023 in which the former president reflected on his time in office and the need for forgiveness.
In the video, Buhari openly admitted that some of his decisions may have caused pain to certain individuals. He went on to express his desire to be forgiven by those affected.
