Controversial relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has fired back at those hoping her relationship ends in heartbreak.
Gistlover reports that the mother of two, who is preparing to tie the knot with popular auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD, addressed her critics in a video shared online.
In the emotional video, Blessing said many people have become so broken by past experiences that they no longer believe in genuine love or happiness.
She said, “A lot of you are damaged. When you’re damaged, everything beautiful becomes too good to be true. When you’re damaged, you don’t even believe that you deserve good things. You don’t believe that you deserve love. You doubt yourself. Being damaged is not a crime or an insult. It’s a mental and emotional kind of disease.
“It comes from our past, our pain, things that we’ve seen, things that we’ve heard.
For example, a lot of you have seen so many celebrities, popular people, break up, relationship and marriage. In fact, those celebrities that you look up to, that made you love marriage, they’re no longer there anymore,” she said.
