Nollywood actor and celebrity matchmaker, Adams Kehinde, better known as Lege Miamii, has stirred buzz on social media following an unexpected incident during a recent date.
Lege, who describes himself as a close associate of Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, recounted how he took a lady out for a meal, only for things to escalate at the restaurant. According to him, while he settled for a simple meal worth ₦7,000, the woman went ahead to place an order totaling ₦40,000, which included jumbo shrimp, rice, and beverages dishes he claimed he wouldn’t even indulge in while abroad.
Shocked by her extravagance, the actor chose not to pay for her meal and instead left her at the restaurant to handle the bill herself. Lege documented the outing and quickly shared it with bloggers to preempt any negative spin.
The incident sparked mixed reactions online. While many applauded him for taking a stand against what they described as a sense of entitlement, others criticized his approach, pointing out the high fees he demands for matchmaking services. Some argued that he could have managed the situation more tactfully.
