Sharing a heartfelt tribute along with sweet photos, the mother of three expressed deep admiration and love for her husband, describing him as the light of her life.
“Happy Birthday to the Etim Effiong in Toyosi Etim-Effiong! My life is brighter, richer, fuller and more meaningful with you in it, Daniel ☺️. Thank you for being a garment of radiance over me!!” she wrote.

In other news, Nollywood filmmaker Kazim Adeoti has opened up about his relationship and eventual marriage to popular actress Mercy Aigbe, revealing the moment he knew she was different.
Speaking in an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Kazim shared that Mercy’s honesty and character left a lasting impression on him long before they became a couple.
Recalling their professional interaction in 2011, Kazim said he featured Mercy Aigbe in his movie Hajia Jemila. After paying her for her role, he was surprised by her reaction.
“At the time, I was used to actors and actresses complaining about my pay being small,” he explained. “But Mercy didn’t complain. Instead, she thanked me and told me I had actually overpaid her. That really shocked me.”
He said:
“What I really admire about her is her honesty and straightforwardness; it’s something I truly respect. I remember in 2011 when she starred in a film titled Hajia Jemila. After I paid her, I was already used to people complaining that the fee was too small. But in her case, she actually came back to tell me there was leftover money. I was genuinely shocked. At the time, many people advised me to only work closely with men if I wanted to succeed in the industry. But I decided to give her a chance, and she completely changed my perspective. She’s not only a woman but a beautiful one at that and still, she acted with so much integrity. Honestly, I never collected that remaining money from her, and we continued working together from there”.
