- Amos Isah, founder and lead pastor of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Abuja, was arrested by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.
- The arrest of Isah, renowned for his charismatic preaching and claims of divine authority, has left the local community in shock.

Amos Isah, the founder and lead pastor of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwalada, Abuja, has been arrested by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) over allegations of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The news has left residents of Gwagwalada in disbelief, as Isah was widely known for his impassioned sermons and claims of spiritual power. His church, located behind Noble Noel Academy near the Gwagwalada Market, is a prominent worship center that draws a large following.
Despite his public persona built around religious devotion, authorities allege that the pastor abused his spiritual authority to exploit the teenage girl. His arrest has prompted serious concern over the influence of religious leaders in vulnerable communities.
A review of Isah’s Facebook page by SaharaReporters shows frequent messages promoting holiness and moral uprightness. On June 11, he shared a Bible verse about righteousness and courage, and on June 15, he posted a Father’s Day prayer. His last known church service was held on June 18, and he was noticeably absent the following day.
Efforts to reach Isah for comment have been unsuccessful, and some sources suggest that certain police officers have attempted to protect his identity due to his standing as a religious figure.
The FCID is said to be managing the case with caution, given its sensitive nature and the potential public reaction. Investigations are ongoing as the authorities determine the full scope of the allegations.
