A viral video has shown Bishop Marvin Winans of Perfecting Church scolding a woman and her son during a fundraiser after they donated $1,235 instead of the $2,000 he requested.

During the service, the woman, identified as Roberta McCoy, stepped forward with her son to announce their donation. However, Bishop Winans interrupted, saying:

“Now, that’s only twelve hundred dollars.”

When the woman confirmed, he responded,

“Y’all are not listening to what I’m saying,”
explaining that he was calling for anyone who had “a thousand plus another thousand dollars.”

When McCoy replied that she would “work on” bringing more, Winans cut her off, saying,

“That ain’t what I asked you to do.”

The exchange quickly went viral, sparking widespread backlash online as many viewers criticized the bishop for embarrassing the woman publicly over her generous donation.

In other news…. After holding an extravagant 40-day celebration for their baby in Tanzania, Priscilla, Juma Jux, and their son, Rakeem, have finally arrived in Nigeria.

A video shared by Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo on Instagram captured the moment she surprised her daughter, Priscilla, and her family with a warm welcome home.

The heartwarming reception took place at Iyabo Ojo’s residence, where friends and family gathered to celebrate their arrival. Traditional drummers and singers stood by the entrance as Priscilla walked in, visibly shocked to see the crowd. Behind her was Juma Jux, proudly carrying baby Rakeem in his arms.

The atmosphere quickly turned festive as the couple joined in the celebration, dancing joyfully to a rendition of Juma Jux’s song “Ayo Mi Tide” performed live by a female singer.

Juma Jux showed off his moves in true Nigerian fashion while guests formed a circle around the happy pair. At one point, Priscilla playfully covered her husband’s head with a cloth to shield him from the flashing cameras.

This visit comes shortly after Priscilla faced online criticism for exposing her less-than-two-month-old baby to cartoons. In a video that surfaced earlier, Rakeem was seen watching Cocomelon on a large screen a moment that sparked mixed reactions from fans, with many advising the new mother to be cautious about early screen exposure.
