A former member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries (TLCCRM) has openly accused the church’s founder, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, of misleading members through what she described as false teachings and manipulative practices.
In a viral testimony, the unidentified woman alleged that Muoka’s doctrines brainwash congregants into blind loyalty, often at the expense of their well-being.
She recounted how a former colleague from the church’s Crowd Control Department visited her with one of the ministry’s trademark yellow jackets. According to her, the colleague urged her to keep the jacket by her side while sleeping so that “the spirit of the pastor” could appear to her and reconvert her back to Christianity.
Rejecting the idea, she dismissed the yellow jacket often promoted as having “bulletproof” powers as nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
The ex-member also recalled a service where Pastor Muoka allegedly claimed to have resurrected a man who had been dead for 10 hours. At the time, she said, she celebrated the miracle because she was “brainwashed.” But she questioned why similar miracles didn’t occur when Muoka’s first and second wives, his driver, and his in-laws died.
She further alleged that blind faith in the supposed supernatural powers of the yellow jacket has indirectly cost the lives of many church members.
“Based on my experience, if 100 Chosen members gather, 50 of them have mental health disorder,” she claimed, urging current followers to break free from what she described as a “mind prison.”
