The conversation began when the host mentioned 2Baba’s timeless track E Be Like Say, highlighting that the challenges addressed in the song still resonate today.

“Now we are back in that political season again, and the same issues are still happening,” the host remarked. In response, 2Baba offered an unexpected perspective.

“We are in a better position than we were years ago. Just look at it,” he stated.

The singer also touched on his civic involvement and hinted at a broader role in influencing the country’s future. When questioned about a potential political career, he explained that although he had participated in campaigns in a limited way before, he intends to continue contributing.

“It’s still ongoing, but I will keep at it. I plan to establish my own platform and try to effect change,” he said.

“I have personally appointed myself as an ambassador of Nigeria… everywhere,” he added.
