Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, along with his wife, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, has touched down in Benin, Edo State as part of the festive celebrations.
The couple, who recently made headlines following their disagreement on Daddy Freeze’s live session, were warmly received at the airport. A memorable moment captured a young girl lauding 2Baba’s musical talent and the positive impact of his work, a tribute that visibly delighted both 2Baba and Natasha.
The duo’s visit to Benin coincides with comedian MC Edo Pikin’s show, where 2Baba is scheduled to perform.
Notably, Natasha’s trip comes a few weeks after she was reportedly summoned by the Edo State House of Assembly. GistLover had previously reported that the lawmaker was required to appear before the Ethics and Privileges Committee within a week over alleged misconduct.
During a plenary session, Speaker Blessing Agbebaku stated that Natasha needed to clarify why her actions had “tarnished the name of the Assembly.” There have been no updates on whether she has responded to the summons.
