2027: Only APC Posters Will Be Allowed in Edo – Okpebholo’s Aide Warns

An aide to Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, Aghahowa Collins, has warned that only the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be permitted to display campaign posters and banners in the state ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a video message, Collins stated that any attempt to promote other political parties would be met with consequences. He emphasized that Edo is an APC stronghold and all political publicity must reflect that.

He also accused former Governor Godwin Obaseki’s administration of tearing down APC campaign materials, including those of President Bola Tinubu, during the 2023 elections — and vowed that the same tactics would be used in 2027 to reinforce APC’s dominance.
