Ahead of the 2027 general elections, former militant leader Asari Dokubo has once again criticized the presidential ambition of ex-Anambra State governor, Peter Obi.

During a Facebook live session, Dokubo argued that Obi underperformed during his eight-year tenure as governor, claiming his record cannot be compared to that of President Bola Tinubu’s time as Lagos State governor.

He went further to say that if given just one year as Anambra’s governor, his achievements would surpass Obi’s eight-year performance.

In other news….. Nigerian crypto investor and entrepreneur, Gaius Chibueze, has responded to backlash after mocking the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari and later losing his own father shortly after.

Days ago, Chibueze had taken to social media to make a controversial post ridiculing Buhari following news of the ex-leader’s death on Sunday. However, shortly after, he announced the death of his own father, sparking criticism and accusations of karma from netizens.

In response, Chibueze defended his remarks and linked his father’s passing to Nigeria’s failing healthcare system. He stated that if Buhari had prioritized building quality hospitals during his administration, perhaps his father could have received better treatment and survived.

He said:

“Buhari was a useless president.

If they had built good hospitals in Nigeria, he wouldn’t have been flying to London for treatment.

If there were good hospitals in Nigeria, my father might still be alive I was only waiting to fly him to Turkey to replace the batteries in his chest…

God punish any Nigerian politician who refuses to do their job.”

“If Buhari had built hospitals in Nigeria my father would still be alive,” he added.
