Two individuals have been taken into custody by the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN), popularly known as Amotekun, for reportedly digging up the head of a recently deceased body in the Saki, Sakiwest Local Government, area of Oyo State.
The individual who was caught in the act and his accomplices were reportedly detained by the security team on Tuesday.
One of the suspects reportedly went to the cemetery on Monday in order to exhume the head of a body that had been buried the same day.
It was learned that his partner, who had assigned him the task, had also been taken into custody.
According to a source, the suspects lived in Saki town’s Oba Abimbola Layout.
“The perpetrators live at Oba Abimbola layout, off Ogboro Road, Saki,” he said.
“The middle-aged man was apprehended by Amotekun with the possession of two human heads. It happened yesterday afternoon”.
State Commandant of Amotekun, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (retd) confirmed the arrest of the suspects to newsmen on Wednesday.
