In other news…..Nigerian singer Skales has launched a scathing attack on former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad following his comments on a recent security incident in Jos.
The exchange began after Bashir reacted to a video posted by US missionary Alex Barbir, who criticised President Bola Tinubu over the Palm Sunday attack in Jos that reportedly left no fewer than 25 people dead.
In his statement, Bashir called on security agencies to take action against Barbir, warning about the dangers of inciting unrest. He wrote, “If Nigeria were to descend into chaos today, as this agent of destruction, Alex Babir, has been pushing for, he would still have his own country to return to. You, however, would be left to face the consequences here.
‘Be wise! As a nation, Nigeria must be firm, decisive and uncompromising toward anyone who comes into our country with the intent to incite chaos or disrupt our peace.”
Reacting strongly, Skales accused Bashir and the past administration of worsening insecurity in the country. He wrote, “You are a big fool … there’s a lots chaos in Nigeria … people are suffering… terorist that started under you and Buhari tenure have gotten worst because you did nothing with the terrible Buhari regime… I pray this happened to your family fool.”
The singer went further, alleging that Bashir sympathises with terrorists and expressing outrage over what he described as misplaced priorities. “You are nothing but a terorist sympathizer and your end will be celebrated you fool ..evil soul.. i pray what’s happening also happens to you and your family … no sympathy cos you’re an evil person … look at what matters to you In This moment what about the souls killed.”
Continuing his tirade, Skales added, “Kai Buran ubanka … are people dieing or not ?… Zakaci durin mamanka… fool .. you and the former president were part of Nigerias problem. All this got worst under your watch … I hate you … I wish I could see you rightnow and slap your wowo face.”
